October Happening

Jessa had the day off since everyone was taking the ACT and she didn't have to yet, so we made a day of it and went to get sushi.  I have slowly converted her over to liking Sushi.  She is the best of the best!  I love her so much!  She blesses my life so much!

Jayla had a blast gong to Harvest with a group of friends.   I'm glad she gets to have these experiences and learn and grow.

Lucas has been obsessed with Top gun Maverick.  We just had to get him the whole outfit.  He's been wearing it nonstop for days.  He still likes to pretend.  Love this boy so much.

This picture was too epic not to include.  I usually don't buy school pictures, but this time I was very tempted to buy them this time around.  LOL.

Jessa got her patriarchal blessing a few weeks ago and then it was Mikey and Kellan's turn.  It was deeply spiritual and I hope they remember it and grow from this experience.  I hope they realize how important they are and all the potential and good they are capable of.

We decorated Halloween cookies with their cousins...a tradition of Brian and Emily.  Lucas and Quinton always make sure that they load the sprinkles and candies on for extra sweetness!Lol

We went to Witchapalooza with the cousins.  Also a usual tradition for us.  The play was hillarious.

Jayla was so excited to go see Tate McCray concert.  She had a blast!

Went and saw the new Wicked with Jayla and Shanda.  It was a good time.  We missed Jessa, but she had already seen it.

Mikey really cleaned up with his friends.  They all took pillow cases and got a bunch of king size candy bars, pop, and even bags of chips!  They did good.  I wish I could tell you that they had candy for months and months, but it was all devoured a lot faster than that.

Quinton and Lucas were excited about trick or treating.  It was just the two of them as the older kids were all off with their friends.  Its a different time. I remember when they would all go together and now the teens are with their friends.  I'm so glad that Quinton and Lucas have each other still and want to be together.  I'm going to miss these two being tied at the hip.
