Family Interests and Hobbies
We love sports and activities. We love to wake board, snowboard, read, workout, watch movies, go 4-wheeling, cheer on siblings at their events, and practice our photography skills among other things. We also play a variety of team sports together. (For more information on our individual hobbies see the other links.). We love to go on walks and hikes together. Our kids loves the outdoors and so do we. Camping is also an activity that we enjoy. We enjoy singing with and reading with the kids. Taking the kids to new places that they have never been is a favorite of ours, such as; to the zoo, swimming, on a walks, to the lake, to a new park, to the library for story time, and to play with friends. We also cherish our family time while going on vacations. The kids are very curious so everything is an adventure. We also enjoy just hanging out. We spend hours with all of us playing and getting into tickle wars.
Family goals and aspirations
The major hopes and aspirations that we have are centered around the family. Right now Michael has an excellent job and we have become financially secure. Kristen is a stay-at-home mom, which is the most important thing to her. It is our goal to provide a loving home to help our children become spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically independent while laughing along the way.
Our extended families love adoption
Kristen's Family
Kristen's family has many traditions has well. We love boating, camping, fishing, riding 4-wheelers, playing games, going out to eat and shopping, going on trips, playing on the pool table at grandma's house, attending Sunday dinners and sitting around talking with Kristen's family. We love to laugh and joke around with each other while we play games. Some of Kristen's extended family live out of state so an annual reunion is held in their honor. There are a lot of cousins everywhere and it is always loud. We love sitting around and talking for hours. They are very excited for us to adopt again.
Michael's Family
We love traditions. With Michael's side of the family we go camping annually, participate in melon days, attend snow days, go egg rolling on Easter, eat all we can at Thanksgiving and Christmas, attend sporting events and celebrate birthdays together. Since Michael has 8 brothers they all love to get together and go hunting. In between all those we try to get together as much as possible, which ends up being often. Whenever anyone leaves for home they can't leave until everyone is hugged at least once. This is no exaggeration either. We wish we could explain the closeness and the love that our extended family has for each other. It truly is a unique family in that any cousin, aunt, uncle, grandma would sacrifice all that they had if it would help someone else. They too are excited for us to adopt again.
We are so blessed to have such a close family.
