Domino Adoption Camp

This location is so so beautiful, especially in the fall!  To be surrounded by families just like ours normalizes our experience making this a space where we are more comfortable than in the regular world.  We had therapy sessions and sessions for the parents to discuss blind spots that we have and to improve ourselves individual and face our demons.  It was the first time that some of these Adult adoptees shared their adoption stories with others.

The four oldest ended up doing a polar plunge in the river!  It was freezing.  I stuck my big toe in it and it started to hurt.  NO way was I getting into it with the kids.  Mikey was amazing and went in up to his neck and stayed there for a few minutes.  Very impressive!
