River Trip

We took the oldest 5 down the river.  We almost left Quinton home and decided to take him last minute.  We are so glad that we did because I think he had the most fun!  He kept jumping off the side of the boat and loved swimming.  Lucas had a ball staying home with grandma.  Jayla went down some big rapids in just her life jacket and then in a kayak.   The life jacket wasn't a good experience and she took in a lot of water, so she vowed never to do that again.  Jessa, Mikey and Kellan got really good on the kayak. and would go down the smaller rapids on them.  This trip was short and sweet but so dang fun with the kids.  They are what make these vacations so much fun!  We love how they just get so excited about everything!  It was the best trip ever!

We played on the beach for hours!  It was so much fun!  The kids had a blast!

I didn't see this girl for most of the trip down the river the second day because she was off on her own.  She did great and I missed her face but thank goodness we still have more summers together!
