We spent Thanksgiving with Michael's family for the second time. We usually don't get to have Thanksgiving with just them. We are usually going to Nevada. It was nice not having to travel as far. We were able to get to know the 2 new sister-in-laws a little better and that was pretty fun. Of course the kids had a blast with all the cousins and uncles to play with. Aunt Jamie was greatly missed and everyone is counting down the days until she gets to come home!
Aunt Erhin was kept busy with all the little kids wanting her attention and she was good to give it to them. They loved her!
Gotta love how he concentrated by sticking his tongue out.
These girls had a blast with their cousins! They were inseparable.
Just sitting around and talking with everyone. We have the best family!
Aunt Jehni was always playing with all the little kids. She was really good to them.
These little boys were showing off their muscles. They wouldn't keep their shirts on the whole time. They were "American Ninja Warriors." It was great!
We have some pretty great uncles! The kids use them as jungle gyms sometimes. What would we do without them!
Playing with my little boys! They are so cute. Never thought I would love being a mom of two little boys so much!
Gingerbread Houses
Gingerbread houses is always a tradition around Thanksgiving time and it is a favorite of all the grandkids.
The little boys did great and really got into it this time.
Kellan adores Seth. He was such a good cousin to spoon feed him the candy from his gingerbread house. So cute!
These two are best cousins! They love playing with each other so much!
Jayla was pretty serious about her house this year and she worked really hard on it making it a pretty big fancy house in the end.
Jessa was working pretty hard too with the help of dad.
Mikey worked really hard at building his house and then he worked really hard at eating it.
Kellan was pretty proud of his house this year as you can tell by his cheesy smile.
Here is Jayla's finished product. It turned out cute.
Jayla's Adoption Day/Sealing Day
Over Thanksgiving we celebrated Jayla's adoption/sealing day when she became a part of our family for forever. It is just something we do to let our kids know how much we love them and how lucky we are to be their parents! We usually celebrate with presents, treats and some fun family activities.
We played games. This one was a fun game that Aunt Natalie brought. You pull the crank and you never know if you are going to get whip cream in the face or not....it was a great success.
