Easter

The girls had a lot of fun decorating Easter Eggs.  This year we got a painting kit and it turned out to be pretty fun.  The girls got into it.

These are Kellan's eggs.  He had a lot of fun scribbling on them.  Then we had to take them away from him before he smashed them on the ground.  These are a few of the casualties.

Its a tradition in our family to hide the Easter baskets and have the kids try to find them.  The girls were pretty excited for their new swim suits and the candy was all gone before breakfast.

Kellan was really excited that his basket was a basketball.  He only cared about the candy, which he ate all before breakfast as well.

Afterwards we set up an Easter egg hunt in the backyard.  The kids had a lot of fun.  We invited cousins to come over and share in the fun.  Kellan lost interest after a while and just wanted to eat the eggs that he found instead of looking for more.  Jayla was good to help him and Jessa was really fast at picking up a lot of eggs.

We also bought glow sticks and stuck them inside eggs, then turned all the lights off and had an egg hunt with glowing eggs.  That one was really fun.  We had to do it several times because the kids loved it so much.
