Jessa was pretty lucky this year. She was able to spend her birthday with both of her grandmas in Utah this year. She started out the day with some yummy birthday pancakes. Jessa LOVES pancakes and asks for me to make them every morning for her.
We had a family party for her birthday with her cousins, aunts and uncles, and grandparents! She was pretty excited to have her family all around to celebrate her special day. She was excited to blow out all the candles, but I think she was even more excited to eat the cake.
Jayla and Jessa are pretty good friends and Jessa let Jayla help her open her presents.
Then, that afternoon we were able to go to see her other grandparents. Michael's mom made a cake just for her and it was really yummy and fun!
Just enjoying some birthday kisses from her daddy. She pretends that she doesn't like them and then she comes back begging for more.
It wouldn't be a birthday without a picture of Jessa with her "thumbs up." I'm not sure where she got this from, but she always does this to us when we ask her to do something or when we are taking her picture.
Yes! More candles to blow out! She never got sick of this and Grandma had to relight the candles several times.
Then, being the awesome grandma that she is re-lite the candles so that Jayla could blow them out.
Jayla and Jessa wanted to give the dogs some Birthday hugs. These girls always had a dog in their lap...so much so that it might have convinced me to get one...we will see.
