Now that we are home owners I decided I should finally start decorating. So after I got started I remembered why I had never attempted to decorate before. I started in the girls' room, which I thought would be easiest. Sad to say these two shelves took me about 2 weeks to put together completely at this rate it will take me a while to finish their room completely.
And I was so proud of myself finally learning to use mod podge to make a picture frame. It was a little touch and go there for a minute, but it turned out ok. Actually, Michael was the one who told me I should put the polka dotted ribbon around it. He must have spent some time with a crafty mother when he was a kid.

Jayla has even gotten into the whole decorating thing. She decided to decorate her kitchen. Not bad!
