Melon Days

Every year Michael's home town has a huge celebration called Melon Days. It is usually one big family reunion on Michael's side of the family. It is great! We get together and play baseball, eat, play games, go to the fair, and stay up until 1:00 in the morning just talking.

Jessa being spoiled by Uncle Brian who was sneaking her some food.

Jayla sporting one of the hats I bought her at the fair. They had so many cute girl things I couldn't resist. That is the fun part of having girls.

Believe it or not this picture was not planned. Jayla adores her daddy and I caught her copying him. It was really funny.

My beautiful sister-in-law Emily holding baby Jessa. I LOVE my sister-in-laws and thank goodness I will have plenty of them with Michael's 7 brothers, not to mention Michael's two sisters.

Grandma and Grandpa being good at what they do. They know just what Jayla likes.

Jayla trying to be helpful with her cousin Owen.

The last two boys who are living at home, Justin and Jason, holding some of the cousins. We watched their baseball games. It wouldn't be Melon Days without baseball.

Grandpa is always a sucker for kisses from cute little granddaughters. It is fun to see how much my little girls are so loved by our family. Of course it doesn't help that I have great in-laws. I don't know what it is like to not get along with my in-laws.

Jayla wanted her daddy to come play in the water with her. Michael love it!
