Avilla Beach and Pismo Beach

 Jayla spent ALL day out in the water on the boogie board.  Michael went out with her for a few hours in the freezing cold ocean. It was fun watching them together.  Jayla decided that she really likes the beach. 

This guy got a little too brave with the water and I finally was THAT mom and put floaty on him at the beach.  Why does nobody wear floaties at the beach?  I don't get it.  But yes you could tell we were not from around here.

Jessa, Mikey and Kellan also went out on the waves and got really good at it until their lips turned purple and had to warm up.

Jayla being a teenager and upset about something, but I caught it on camera. LOL.  This is good stuff.

Jayla being a teenager again and wanting a picture by pier.  It make for a cool picture I have to admit.  Now I'm wishing I would have got a family picture.

This boy wasn't so sure about the sand and the whole beach thing in general.  He mostly sat on his towel and ate snacks.

He would venture into the water just a little bit and run away from the waves.  This was actually an improvement for him.

This girl was slaying the beach vibe and just being her cute self.

We went to some pools to look for sea life.  This was probably the coolest thing we saw.  Another family saw a Sea Star but we couldn't find it.  We were bummed, but this place was fun.

Lucas was nervous about it all and had to be held for most of the time.
