Lucas: Sealing in the Salt Lake Temple

We were able to take Lucas to the temple.  It was so amazing to be there with all of my children.  The next time this will happen is in 2 decades from now.  Everyone kept calling us the groom and bride no matter how many times we told them we were here for our baby.  The host in Michael's dressing room was so confused when Michael told him he didn't need his help because this was his 7th time doing this...he was pretty quiet after that. :)  It was so weird looking around at all the "spouses to be" and how we were like that 15 years ago in that very same room.  A lot has changed since then and neither one of us could ever have dreamt how our family would grow and how we would be blessed through our pain.  Everything came full circle on that day and we could finally see what our God was seeing all along. I hope the kids all remember how they all felt when they were there and knew just how much their Heavenly Father loves them.  The day wasn't perfect.  Jayla got her white dress dirty, Kellan and Jayla fought over who got to push the elevator button, Lucas was his usual "no more pictures its nap time" self, but the feeling of the joy of eternal blessings was there full strong.  It was such a happy day!  It is sad that we will never get to do that again!  I miss the temple just typing this.  And this is our story of how our Ashes were turned to Gold.
