Lucas 14 Months

Lucas weights 27 lbs and still eats as much as I do.  He is learning how to sign and knows 3 signs. Eat (of course), milk, please, and I think he will really like to learn the sign for outside since he loves being outside!  He still takes a morning nap from 8:40-11:30 and an afternoon nap from 2-4, although that is going to have to change with school starting.  He isn't that interested in his bottle as much anymore and would rather have real food.  The transition has been rough at times. Lucas has had to get used to being mauled, hugged, picked up, kissed, having toys stolen, being strapped in a car for hours on our road trips and everything else that comes with being a Johnson😆.  Poor baby!  Now, he follows all the kids around and even lets Michael throw him up in the air.  It is so fun having a baby in the house again, but his babyhood is slipping away as he is standing more and more!  At least he still really likes to be held a lot!  I hope that continues even after he learns to walk and I am chasing him instead of him chasing me!  This boy is so so so loved!  He is so fun!  Last night for Family Home Evening he kept courtesy coughing so that we would all look at him and then he would get really excited and squeal while bouncing on his knees when he would make us all laugh.  I wish I got it on video.  He is really starting to like the water too, which has been really fun!
