Easter 2017

Each year we usually have about 2-3 Easter Eggs hunts.  This year was no exception.  Grandma came close to Easter so we had a hunt in our backyard with our cousin Cloey.   Our Easter Egg baskets were MIA so we improvised and used our Halloween baskets.  It was lots of fun and the kids over dosed on candy.

Dividing the spoils...

They were excited to find their Easter baskets when they woke.  It is a tradition in our family to hide their baskets and have them look for them when they wake up.

Egg paining...I try to do something new when we are decorating eggs.  This year we for paining the eggs with brushes and rollers.

Wearing their new Easter clothes ready for church.  Everyone was happy, except Kellan...not sure what he was upset about.  They clean up well.

We had another Easter Egg hunt with a huge group of friends from our church.  Not one of my kids found the golden egg, but still came home with a good loot.

Quinton was more interested in the dirt...there is always next year.

Another tradition we have is to have a glow in the dark Easter Egg hunt in our house.  We wait until dark and then fill the eggs with glow sticks.  They always have fun with this one.  The boys were hoping over furniture to try to get the most eggs.  Glad they still enjoy this one every year.  I will miss this tradition when they grow out of it.
