Mikey's Adoption Day

We got to celebrate Mikey.  We played games, had presents and treats.  He felt pretty special and kept saying, "Mom you love me!  Mom, you all love me!"  That is one language that Mikey always understands.  He is a lover.  He has a great need to love and to be loved more than anything else.  That is his greatest talent.  It is his gift.  I think it helped him attach and love all his previous caregivers and then transition beautifully to our family when he was 3 and a half years old.  He is so sweet and we are so glad that we felt called to adopt this sweets little boy, our little boy.  We can't even remember what things were like without him!  We love him more and more everyday!  We are so lucky!
