Soccer, Dance, Oh My!

Wow! We have been super busy with after school activities.  Jayla is class president and has student council after school, along with piano, dance and soccer.  I have been coaching both girls in soccer and Mikey started soccer as well!

Jayla tried out and made the EXTRA soccer team.  Everyone is all 1-2 years younger than all the teams in their league, but they have only lost once.  Jayla has been trying out goalie and center midfield.  She has been doing very well at both.  She also makes some goals every now and again! Jessa's team annihilates everyone with Jessa averaging 5 goals a game.  Mikey's team nobody really keeps score at this age; they are just out there running around trying to get the hang of things.  Mikey mostly stands next to the ball and gets all excited when it bounces off his foot.  He has a blast and is really proud that he is a soccer player like his big sisters.  It has been fun watching them all!

I kinda love this picture...they aren't much different on the field.

Poor Kellan is just dying to play any kind of sport.  He is getting restless sitting on the sidelines.  He keeps trying to convince us that he is old enough to play.  We told him he can't play until he is 4 years old.  He tells me he will be 4 tomorrow and then he says he has to eat all his vegetables so he can get big and play soccer.  It has been a good way to get him to eat his vegetables at least.

"I'm a brother, so that means I can play on Mikey's team.  They are really nice.  Can you ask the coach mom?"

Jayla really likes her Jazz class and even has a friend from school in her class, which makes it more fun for her.

Jessa was pretty excited to switch to Jazz instead of Ballet.  She didn't like Ballet and I can't blame her.  I didn't like it either.... it was way too slow for us.
