Pumpkins and Balloons

I kinda LOVE October in New Mexico.  The Balloon Fiesta, Pumpkin Patches, Halloween movies, haunted houses and Trick-or-Treating.We started off by going to the Balloon Museum.  We got to be up close and personal as they explained how a hot air balloon works.  We went with some friends to make it more fun.

The kids got to touch this one at their school.  Once they fired up the balloon all the heat and noise scared Kellan, so he wouldn't get close after that.

Balloon Fiesta time.  We had a hard time fitting in going down to the field this year, so we just opted for chasing the balloons instead.  Kellan kept begging me to let him ride in one.  NO WAY!  I told him maybe when he turns 12 he can.  Then for the rest of the day he kept asking me if he was 12 yet.

Kellan is obsessed with Pumpkin Patches.  He talks about them all year and then can't wait until it is time to go again.  The petting zoo was a big hit with the kids.

Mikey stayed here for a long time!  He loved this station...making mud pies and "cooking."

The corn pit is a favorite!  I even like getting in there with the kids.  By the time we are ready to go home we have corn in every crevasse, crack and orifice.

My beautiful baby!  I have gorgeous kids!  They make adoption look good!
