Ready For Halloween

We carved pumpkins one night for Family Home Evening.  The kids had been begging us for weeks and we finally had a free night.  October is a busy month full of festivities, but it makes it really fun!

  

Mikey was a little hesitant, but once he figured what to do he dug right in.

Dad was a pretty good dad and helped all the kids clean out all the pumpkin guts.  Everyone enjoyed pulling out all the gooey guts.   

   This is what Kellan was doing while we were carving pumpkins.  He was serenading us. This little kid loves to sing.  He makes up songs all the time and sings them.

The finished product.  They were pretty proud of their handy work, or more like dad's handy work.

Then they all wanted to try on their costumes.  I guess that means that we are all ready for Halloween.  My little super heroes are all pretty excited!
