Jayla had tubes put in her ears. She would keep getting infections and then the fluid wouldn't drain so were excited to get this done so she could hear again and be more comfortable. She told me that she was "scarecited." She was a little bit scared and a little bit excited at the same time. She did really well and all the nurses and doctors were really sweet with her.
She didn't want to wear the silly blue hat, so the doctors told here that she could take it off...even though she still looked really cute in it.
Jayla was pretty groggy and emotional after the surgery due to the sedation. She would start to cry when Jessa gave her hug and then again when Kellan gave it her a hug. It melted my heart, it was so sweet. She wasn't really in that much pain, just a little dizzy and a little out of it.
Giving her some Tylenol after her surgery. We kept her home for the next couple of days and it was really fun having her home during the day. I think that Jessa especially liked it. They had a picnic in the backyard and played all day together.
