Traditions at Michael's house during Christmas

Aunt Jamie started the weekend off with a bang. She spoiled the kids while we were there. She played with them every second that she had...literally. Bless her heart. She is a great aunt. We love her.

Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without the gingerbread houses. We love this tradition! Do we look excited or what?

Uncle Jason was sooo excited to have his picture taken...can you tell? We love you Jason!

Daddy was helping Jessa with her gingerbread house. She was looking a little WORRIED that her daddy would mess up her house....but it all turned out ok.

Here is the finished product...not bad right!? So Jessa was worried over nothing.

Another tradition is opening family gifts on Christmas Eve and then going to look at all the lights. The girls all got matching pajamas thanks so Jared and Jessica.

Such cute girls in their cute pajamas. I love them!

The whole living room was littered with presents! It was so much fun to see everyone's faces light up as they opened their presents! I love love love this family!

The last two boys who are living at home...at least for the next month. They were so proud of their shirts.

And who could forget about the cute little princess girls! They cleaned up! They certainly are LOVED by their family and extended family.

Jason's Birthday is the 31st of December, so we always get to be there and celebrate with him. My favorite is that ALL of the little kids were surrounding Jason helping him blow out all the candles. Priceless. That Jason is always surrounded by kids! We will miss him a lot for the next 2 years while he is on his mission.

It also wouldn't be grandmas house, or Christmas without having a picture of a totally exhausted child sleeping in the middle of the chaos! Way too much fun!
