Disneyland

This is our group that went to Disneyland. We went with 3 of Michael's brothers and their families. We miss them so much already. We had so much fun! We can't wait to go back again. I couldn't choose which from all the great pictures we have so be prepared for a long one.

These two were joined at the hip the entire trip. Jessa loves her Jason and that Jason is so sweet to her.

Oh yes, you can't go to Disneyland without riding on the tea cups. I'm just glad that the ride was short and sweet before we all got sick.

While Jessica and Emily watched the girls for we went on the Tower of Terror. It was great. It was one of our favorite rides.

This is a picture of some of us on the Tower or Terror ride. Can you spot us? We are all on the back right rows. Notice that the biggest guy in the black shirt named Jason is screaming his head off. Sorry Jas buddy...I couldn't resist pointing that out.

Jayla was so excited to ride in a bug and she also loved that she was able to drive the car.

Splash mountain was one of our favorite rides. Mostly because we all conspired against Jason. We all knew that the person who sits in the front always gets drenched, so naturally we made Jason sit up front. Of course he got soaked and to make matters worse we went on the ride after the sun was going down on a cold cold evening. It still makes me laugh just thinking about it. Thanks Jason for being such a good sport so that we could have a little fun and a good laugh.


The princesses were a big hit. Michael, Jay, Jess and I scheduled a breakfast date with all the princesses. The girls loved it and it was fun to see them get so excited to meet the princesses.



We were sad that we never got to meet Princess Tiana, but at least we were able to see her at the parade.

The girls were a little timid when they met with some of the other characters, but as long as we were nearby they did great.

I think one of my favorite attractions was the splash pad. The kids were so much fun to watch.

Andali and Jayla chasing after Mini Mouse down. A security guy had to come out to protect Mini from these wild fans.

This was also one of Jayla's favorite rides because she got to use the Buzz Lightyear gun on all the targets.

All of the little cousins got to ride Dumbo and they of course loved it!

We rode the carousel a couple times. I think that this was also a favorite ride.

Jayla was really excited to go into the castle. I think that both Jayla and I were a little disappointed when we went through the castle because it was a little too scary for young kids.

Jayla and Jessa LOVED their Mickey Mouse shirts and have worn them almost every day since we got back from our trip.


This was our last night at Disneyland. It was so sad. Nobody wanted to go home, but at least we got to enjoy the light show before we left. The kids loved that and we were all impressed. I think we all had as much fun as the kids did. We all had so much fun watching our kids enjoy the magic of Disneyland and we can't wait to go again.
