This Mother's Day I was at home by myself with two little sick kids and not feeling so hot myself. I was wiping noses, making chicken noodle soup, comforting crying babies, cleaning up messes that only happen when you are sick...and yet I had the best Mother's Day...I even got pampered by Michael and was able to take a nap. Everyday I am so grateful that I get to be a mother through adoption and of course I am so grateful for my daughter's birthmothers. I love being a mom and I love my daughters more than anything in the world!
I love looking back at our old pictures at all of our memories we have had together...this picture was last year at a basketball game...back when Jessa was still on bottles...I have so many wonderful memories of being a mom.

I would like to add that I didn't realize how much time, patience, and love my own mother put into raising me until I became a mother myself. I have the best mother who still worries about my happiness and the happiness of my children. I love you Mom...yes I know that you are reading this. Thanks for putting up with me all those years and for putting so much time and energy into me. I appreciate all that you do for me.
