So we had a meeting with our caseworker the other day and Jayla wanted to know where we were going...these days she is not satisfied with a general answer. For example, she wanted to know why the witch made Snow White sick from the apple. I gave her a general answer and she said, "Just tell me mom." Nothing gets past this girl now a days.
Anyway, we decided to tell her that we are having a meeting so that she will be able to get a new baby brother or sister. The meeting went well and on the way out Jayla started to get upset and said, "We are leaving without the baby." Oops. We forgot to explain about the waiting part.
With Michael being busy finishing up his PhD we haven't been able to go see Jamie. Apparently it had been too long. Later we had to call Jamie on the phone because Jayla was missing her.

Kristen: "Jayla we have to wait a long time for that to happen."
Jayla:" We do?"
Kristen:"Yup."
Michael: " Do you want a baby brother or a sister?"
Jayla: "A sister like Jamie." (Michael's sister)
Jayla:" We do?"
Kristen:"Yup."
Michael: " Do you want a baby brother or a sister?"
Jayla: "A sister like Jamie." (Michael's sister)
