So some of you have been wondering what happened to us...well to make a long story short we were in North Carolina for a month waiting for Jessa to be born and getting the OK to come home.
When I was alone with Jessa for the first time in the hospital I lost it. I couldn't believe how beautiful she was and that I was going to be able to take her home. I was overcome with emotion and the love her birthmother has for her.

She is really good at sucking on her fingers...fortunately for us she hasn't found her thumb just yet.

We are so excited and proud to be the parents of another little girl! We owe everything to Jessa's wonderful birthmom, Jelisa, whom we were able to spend a lot of time with while she was in the hospital. We are so grateful for her strength and her contagious smile. She truly is an Angel.
