Jayla: Kindergarten

Jayla has enjoyed her first year in school.  She has really blossomed.  She is one of the best readers in the class and she is more confident in her abilities.  She has many friends and she has to say "Hi," to them all as we pass them on the way home.  She knows how to add and subtract up to 5 and she can count to 30 without making a mistake.  Even though we don't really like having her leave us to go to school, she is doing so well.

Jayla enjoys coloring, singing, playing with her princess Polly Pockets that her Birth-mom gave her, playing outside, playing with her brother and her sister, reading, watching movies, playing with friends and cousins, going hiking, swimming, going to the Zoo or McDonalds, playing soccer, dancing, playing the piano, etc.(I could go on forever)...She loves anything and everything.  She is always wanting to do things or go on adventures.

She is a peacemaker and makes sure that everyone is included.  She is always concerned about people and their feelings.  She loves everyone. She loves having her hair short because she hates to have her hair brushed or done.  She loves going to church and she loves Jesus.  When she makes a mistake she usually comes to us and tells us she is sorry...she shows great strength and courage.  She is inquisitive about life, which has resulted in her understanding many complex things beyond her 5 years.  We think she is pretty amazing!
