Too Cute

So here are just some random cute pictures of Jessa. I got one of her smiling...I'm not sure if she was smiling because I was talking to her or just because. She's still a little too young for that, but it made for a cute picture.

Snow

We went outside and REALLY played in the snow for the first time. Jayla had so much fun. At first she wan't sure what to do with the snow. Michael had to show her that she can pick it up and make a big ball out of it.

She tried to throw it...it didn't make it very far but at least it put a smile on her face.

We made a snowman. Jayla had fun until we put a face on the snowman. She got really scared of it and wouldn't give him a hug...that is why I am between Jayla and the snowman. Afterward she kept going around the house saying, "snowman, snowman, snowman." I think she had fun.

Oh yes...Jayla figured out that you could EAT the snow. She loved that idea and kept asking for some snow to eat.

We also showed her how to make a snow angel...we don't think that she liked it very much. The grimace on her face says it all.

She didn't seem too impressed by the snow angel that she had made...I think she was just glad to be back on her feet.

Jayla was excited to see that the neighbor dogs were outside and barking at us. Here she is staring intently at them. I think she missed them.

First Hair Cut

It is finally here! Jayla got her very first haircut EVER! Doesn't she look so excited?

This is her mullet. Although it is very cute how it curls at the end it has got to go.

She had so much hair that I could even put it in a ponytail.

Crazy hair! Definitely time for a hair cut.

Jayla wanted to help...at least she thought that she was helping.

Gorgeous Girls!!

Michael bought me a new lens for our camera for my birthday. I had to try it out last night. I like it already. Aren't they cute! (The good thing about having adopted kids is that you can brag about how cute they are and get away with it.)

Chocoholic

We usually keep our Nesquik in our cupboard that is Jayla accessible. It recently had to be relocated due to an overdose of chocolate milk. Jayla would ask for "this" at least 5 times a day. Then, she would take it out the cupboard and bring me a sippy cup so that I could fill er up. This morning she went looking for her coveted Nesquik and it was nowhere to be found. She was confused and asked me where "this" was. I told her that it was "All Gone." Jayla decided that I gave a good enough answer and soon forgot about her beloved Nesquik.

Awww...

My three favorite people in the world... What a cute little bunch. Jayla and Jessa can't get enough of their daddy and he can't get enough of them.

Big Girl

Jayla, AKA "Little Mama," has been paying close attention to how I take care of Jessa. Whenever I change Jessa's diaper Jayla is always good to help me by getting out the changing pad, diapers, wipes, and A&D cream. (Unfortunately sometimes she is a little too helpful. I have caught her trying to give Jessa a taste of her sippy cup and trying to feed Jessa a banana.) She loves that little Jessa.

Pretty in Pink

Jessa went to church with us for the very first time. She was such a good girl and she looked really cute so I had to take a picture.

Check out all of that HAIR!

Cheese

So do you see anything unusual about this block of cheese? I left it on the table for a split second and when my back was turned a certain little girl took a huge bite out of the block of cheese...just a little reminder as to why I never leave anything on the table.

Cute Pictures.

I had to show off how strong Jessa is already. Not to mention she has to fight off Jayla all of the time. She is already showing off her athletic side! Jessa is only a week old in this picture and she is already getting good at holding up her head.

Some more cute pictures...

Meeting the Family

Jayla can't seem to get enough of her little baby sister Jessa...I have to fight her off so that I can feed Jessa. She is Jayla's baby.

Precious moment...aren't they cute!

My mom and dad checking out the brand new baby Jessa. They couldn't wait to see her and we were very excited to show her off to them.

Uncle Brian holding baby Jessa.

Grandpa Nolan loving on Jessa. Can you tell that he kinda likes her?

Grandma and Grandpa playing with the girls...and those are not fake smiles.

My sister Britt was one of the first to see Jessa...lucky girl. She lives right below us..thank goodness. I love it that she lives so close.

North Carolina

This is the family that we stayed with while were in North Carolina. They were so amazing! They made us feel right at home and it was so much better than staying in a hotel for a month. They were great!

They even threw me a baby shower while we were there...can you believe it! They were so awsome. Eli and Jayla became the best of friends. They thought that playing with the presents was the highlight of the party.

Me and Jessa...she is a cutie.

Jayla can't get enough of her little sister. She is always kissing, hugging, feeding and burping little Jessa. She then gets mad when we tell her we have to take Jessa away.

The plane ride home was really long! I had to change Jessa's diaper 8 time on the flight! I had fun holding her while she slept. She did great...and everyone thought that she was so cute.

We got lucky on the 4 hour ride home. We had 6 seats all to ourselves so we could stretch out and Jayla could play peek-a-boo with me.
