More Cousins

We went and spent some time with Michael's brother and his family. Miriam was making dinner while all of the little kids watched in anticipation.

It was Sally's birthday...everyone helped her open her presents whether she wanted them to help or not.

The babies were one of the main attractions of the weekend. The little girls especially enjoyed them.

Even the babies themselves had fun getting to know each other. This picture is priceless...I love it.

The little princess and the pirate queen..AKA little Sally. Aren't they cute!

Michael didn't want to feel left out so he dressed up too.

Michael, playing with all of the kids...I'm not sure who had more fun...Michael or the kids.

Then when Michael was tired he made the mistake of laying on the floor. Whenever you lay on the floor you turn into a jungle gym...he was ruthlessly attacked by cute little kids.

Aunt Deanne came over as well and was immediately mauled with kids and books...but I don't think that she minded at all.

Some of the Cousins

We went and saw Michael's brother and his family this last weekend...Jared, Jessica and Andi. They were able to meet Jessa for the first time. It was great fun and we wished that we could have spent more time with them. Jayla insisted on holding Andi, even though they are practically the same size.

We were also able to go see my brother Nate and his family. It was the first time that they had seen baby Jessa. It was great! It had been too long since we had seen them. It was great. Of course everyone had to hold little baby Jessa.

Can you tell Jessa just ate?

Play Time

Jayla is always trying to include Jessa in the fun. She loves playing with baby Jessa...maybe a little too much. After reading to Jessa, Jayla wanted to make her, "Pretty..." hence all of the jewelry.

Photo Shoot

I decided to practice with my new flash that Michael got me for my birthday, so I decided to do a photo shoot with the girls. Some of the pictures turned out ok, but I think that I need a lot more practice.

Get together

Chauntel, Jayla's Birthmom, and her family were able to come see baby Jessa for the first time. It was fun to see them again and everyone had a lot of fun.

Happy Birthday Mom

With the help of my mom's friend Laura we were able to surprise my mom for her birthday. She had no idea that everyone was getting together to celebrate her birthday.

Does she look surprised?

Jayla was having a blast playing with everyone and trying to get everyone's attention the whole time.

Doesn't Jessa looked thrilled to be there too? She just woke up from her nap, so she wasn't too lively just yet.

2 Months Old...Already!

Jessa is getting so big! She wears 3 month clothes. I think that she will be big for her age...just like Jayla was. She smiles like crazy and she talks to you all the time. She is very talented and can make a lot of different noises. She sleeps really well and is content to stare at all of her toys. She has even tried to reach for them a few times. She loves her binky and she already gets really excited when Michael comes home. Whenever he says HI to her she gets a HUGE grin on her face. She loves to be talked to and she already loves going for walks. She has a very "chill" personality so far (which is a good thing having a bigger sister like Jayla who won't ever leave her alone.) Oh..and did I mention how cute she is?!

Baking

Jayla helped me bake a cake the other day. She loved it! She liked pouring the flour and different ingredients into the bowl. She kept calling it "candy." When we were all done she couldn't understand why I wouldn't let her eat the whole cake just yet. She wasn't too happy about that, so I taught her how to lick the bowl and the beaters. She thought that was great!

Gymnastics

We went to a gymnastics meet the other day. It was great! It was BYU vs. Utah. It was fun to see everything up close and personal. We had some pretty good seats. Afterwards Jayla would run across the room and then jump...she wanted to be a gymnast. It was really cute! It is amazing how perceptive these little kids are.

Aside from the competition Jessa was the next main attraction...especially for the little girls. We had a few little girls want to hold baby Jessa. It was funny.

Outside...Finally

So we are happy so say that the weather is finally warm this week. We have been playing outside everyday. I think that I am as excited as the babies to get outside for once. We have been able to go the park and on walks with some friends of ours. It has been great!

So where is Jessa during all of this fun? She slept right through all of the fun, but she was at least awake for the walk that we took.
