Owen's Blessing

Jayla loved the watermelon!! Everyone kept giving it to her...so three pieces and two outfits later she was finally satisfied.

FOOTBALL!!

At the game...Jayla didn't know what to think with the huge crowd as she looked up at the stands. Jayla would clap and cheer along with us whenever anything exciting happened and between all of that she would flirt with the boys behind us.

Making Messes With the Cousins

We went and spent the whole day at Lincoln and Yvonne's house. They showed me how to can green beans while the little kids reeked havoc in the house going from one mess to the next. I'll just let the pictures do the talking.

Baseball

We went to go see Michael's younger brothers play in their high school baseball game. This is Jason up to bat.

This is Justin playing catcher...he looks even bigger standing next to the umpire because he is so tall.

Jason, being at least 6'5", wanted to show Jayla what it feels like to be so tall. He let her grab all of the leaves in the tree and then she kept asking for more whenever he would put her down. This girl isn't afraid of anything.

Jayla found a new friend...they stole the cheerleader's pom poms and started practicing some cheers of their own.

I just thought that this was a cute picture. It really shows off Jayla personality.

BABIES!!!

Jayla has had 2 new cousins born within this last month. Jayla was the happiest of all to meet Andali and Owen. She couldn't get enough of them. She loves babies and this was the first time that she actually got to hold a baby!

Jayla couldn't get enough... she had to hug Owen one last time.

Jayla's first time meeting baby Andali. Everytime her mom Jessica would leave the room with Andali Jayla would scream because she wanted to see the baby.

Later we had to go buy her a baby of her own. When we first gave it to her the babies forehead was all slobbery from all of the kisses Jayla had given it. Now her baby sleeps with her every night and she always has to ask, "baby..where is she?" Then she would bring her blanket and her doll to me so that I could swaddle her. She is such a cute little mommy.

ICE CREAM

Jayla LOVES ice cream. She turns into the biggest beggar whenever she sees someone with ice cream. She also knows that whenever daddy has ice cream he will ALWAYS give her a fair share. She wasn't shy...she climbed right up onto his lap and was almost successful of stealing daddy's ice cream cone, but for some reason I don't think Michael cared.

She is getting better at sharing.

Barbecue with Jayla's Birth Family

We had the opportunity to spend the day with Jayla's wonderful birthfamily. They invited us to a barbecue at the park and we had a lot of fun! It was great to see everyone and of course Jayla always enjoys being the center of attention.

Michael can't open the package fast enough for Jayla...she was too excited to play with the princess ball Chauntel picked out for her. She always knows just what Jayla likes.

Once again Jayla is the center of attention. It was a great day.

Baa Baa

Jayla's favorite thing to do when she visits uncle Brian and Emily is to feed the sheep that are across the street. She loves animals and she kept trying to talk back to them. She wasn't even afraid when the sheep would eat the grass right out of her hand! She is so funny.
